The reverent area in Lety (plot no. 987/7) was on April 23, 1998 declared a cultural monument by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. The file no. of this declaration is 2777/98.
It is a place where the prisoners of the determination camp in Lety are buried. There was a monument "To the Victims of Gipsy determination Camp in Lety" disclosed in 1995 as memento of the former events. The determination camp itself does not exist anymore.
The reverent area is accessible throughout the whole year.
Currently a project of reconstruction of the access roads is being prepared. Parking areas and sanitary facilities shall be built; natural amphitheatre in front of the reverent area shall be adjusted.
An educational trail from village Lety to the reverent area is planned to be established. It is going to contain a small exposition dedicated to Romany holocaust within the Czech lands.

The project realization itself shall be done latest by the beginning of May 2010, but before the respective lands have to be bought from the surrounding villages.
